Image Management

Clicking on the Image Button btn_image-1.gif from within the text editor will open the 'Insert Image' window. From here you can place images into your page as well as delete unwanted images. Select an image from the image library or upload a new image.

Uploading Images:
The library will be empty by default so you will need to upload an image to your site. To do this click the 'Upload Images' Button at the top of the page. From here you can browse for files on your computer. Find the image you want to upload to your site, selecting it and click the upload button. When you click the ‘Upload’ button, a copy of the image will be transferred to your website. Select the image within the Image Library and adjust the display setting.

The display settings include image alignment (left, right, etc.) in relation to the surrounding text. Image padding and margin adjust the amont of room around the image and the image height and width will resize the graphic. Click 'Insert Image' when you are done and you will return to your page with the new image in place.

note: Acceptable image files are .Jpg, .Gif and .Png. Larger images (over 500 pixel wide) are resized to 500 pixels on their widest side. Images smaller than 500 pixels are not resized. Images can be resized within the text field. However, to insure the best quality the images should be sized before uploading using image editing software.
