Organizing the Menu

viz-organize.gifFrom the 'Pages' section of 'Manage Site' you can adjust the order of your pages as they appear on the navigation bar. The top page will always be considered the main page of the site.

If you have multiple pages you can change the order that they are displayed by clicking on the 'Organize Pages' link.

Clicking on the 'Organize Pages' link brings up a drag icon ( btn_drag.gif ). Click and drag a page to change it's position. Organize Subpages by selecting the 'Reorder Children' link of the parent page. Select the 'Done Organizing' link above the pages to return to the page edit links.

Subpages
You can make a page a subsection (or 'child') of another page by moving it under another page (parent). Select the  "Change Parent" link. This will open a drop down menu. Then select a page that you want the current page to go under. When you click the 'save' button the 'child' page is moved under the 'parent' page you selected. Multiple second level pages can be organized by clicking the  'Reorder Children' link located next to the page title while organizing the menu items.

Top level 'parent' pages cannot be deleted without first deleted or moving any second level 'child' pages within it. Also, if the page at the top of the menu is deleted then the next page below it will become the new main page.
