Using Tags (Keywords)

Visitors can explore the MosaicGlobe Network from our main site and from within your site. To make use of this feature you will need to tag your content by adding keywords. A Tag is a simple way of self categorizing your site content. Add descriptive tags to pages, photos, posts, images and media files. Your site is then available for searches and your site visitors can also view your site’s content organized by your tags.

Adding Tags
Here’s how it works. Wherever you see a field that reads ‘Tags/Keywords’, add a series of descriptive words that will help those searching find you; on you main page use your name, describe a photo's content, include the medium, event, etc.

Exploring with Tags:
In addition to exploring content from MosaicGlobe. When someone visits a site and sees that one of the gallery images is tagged 'Denver'. They can click on the tag to see everything on the site that is tagged with "Denver".  Click here to see an example.

Underneath the tag results is a link that reads ‘View all Mosaic Globe sites that have tagged with Denver’ (Denver of course being whatever the searched tag was). Clicking on this link will take you to a page that lists all of the MosaicGlobe website pages, images, posts, etc. that have been tagged with ‘Denver’.

The TagCloud
A TagCloud is a visual indicator of popular tags. It is a list of keywords taken from your shared tags. Popular tags are indicated by a larger font. The most popular tags from across all MosaicGlobe websites can be seen at http://www.mosaicglobe.com/tags. Visitors can also tag search all MosaicGlobe sites from this page.

Your own individual site TagClouds/Search can be viewed at ‘yoursite.mosaicglobe.com/tags.
